My first wedding was in May of this year and Linda and Thao were a very fun couple to work with. I love to shoot photos but I also like to meet new people and make a great friend, my wife and myself were very lucky to meet and continue being in contact with both of them even after my part of there new life was over. We talked about what they wanted as far as the portraits of them and they were set on a sunrise or sunset type of photo and they wanted it on the beach so that pretty much sum up to a sunrise photo. The shot were too take place a week or two before the wedding and some couples dont have a problem doing this as far as seeing the bride in her dress before the wedding. This leaves plenty of time for many diffrent set up’s and the time factor between a normal wedding and reception only leaves a small window to get shots so to say the least I was happy I could spend most of the day with them. The morning of the shoot I woke up early and made my way to Sandbridge, Virginia to set up early. The sunrise was at 6:15am and I remember looking at the sky as the colors were starting to take place and looking at my watch which read 6:05am and no bride yet. I was strating to get worried not only if she would make it in time but if I would have another chance at such a great sunrise. At 6:12am I looked up towards the beach and here came Linda running as fast as she could telling me I’m late, I’m late, and I said were fine. The colors of the sunrise were amazing and matched her flowers as well. I was really blessed with such a pretty bride and a jaw dropping sunrise. We did some other shots in Sandbridge as well and the day was a lot of fun…Thanks Linda and Thao for making my first wedding so much fun…
