Madison is turning five years old in another week and as you know five is almost an adult (or what she likes to call a big person) by Madison’s standards. So with this new number my wife took her to get a trim as her hair in the front of her face was getting a little out of control. They both returned minus four inches of hair on the both of them(I liked it long)..It took a little time for Madison’s hair to grow on me as she had hair to the middle of her back but I like it now. The other big step was getting her ears pierced and she kept asking all day about getting it done. I was thinking to myself she has no earthly ideal what was involved with getting this done and how much of a surprise it would be when it happens as far as the “ouch factor”. The first photo is her sporting her new hair cut and the others are before,during,after the “ouch factor”..I sure wish I could keep her from growing up anymore then she already has and the only way to freeze it is with photography..I am glad I was there with the camera for this moment in her life..
