Portrait Of A Little Girl On Canvas

I have had a couple clients ask about portraits done on canvas and to tell you the truth this is a road I have not yet crossed. I have done some rigorous research on the subject and tried to find as much info on the different types of canvases and styles. Another reason for the research in not only do I want to offer this service to my clients but I think it would be a nice touch especially for those family beach shots. But when you think your ahead of the game someone tosses the wrench in the machine. One client asked about framing of the canvas which is a little out of the ordinary  so with much help from my new canvas supplier he explained how it was done. I am awaiting a canvas print sample to see what kind of quality the new supplier can offer me and my clients and have chosen one of my favorite photos of my daughter to use as the sample which is below. I have a lot of stuff happening at the end of March and the whole month of April so fresh photos of new faces will be gracing the blog soon.

Winter Is Almost Gone And Spring Is Coming

I try to keep the blog about weddings and portraits and other special events but I have a weather category in the blog because it is something I have enjoyed since I was little. The Spring season will soon be here which will bring me out of the house with the camera more often and also allows me to get started taking portraits and do weddings in Virginia Beach or where ever one might lead me. Our first thunderstorms might make there way to us sometime late Tues night which might provide the opptunity for lightning photography. As a stormchaser I try to make it to the Midwest at the end of May for a week or two which is the most relaxing time of the year for me. But most of the good lightning I take photos of happen around here. I will post a couple of pictures from last year below. I have added two new clients to list and I look forward to working with them this Spring.
